Hampton Inn Hartford Airport - Windsor Locks

The bed was comfortable, but trash was left behind.

The rooms were clean, the bed so comfortable. I especially liked the exercise room all of the equipment was new and in great shape.The breakfast they offer is great too. I have stayed at other Hampden Inn's and have never been dissatisfied.

The best I have ever stayed in near an airport. Linda the front desk clerk was very helpful and courterious. Also the graveyard clerk, ( I forgot his name) was especially helpful in taking me to get a burger when I got in at 100am to check-in. I will definetly be staying agin. Thanks, R. Carver

Convenient . The King Study room was spacious and comfortable.

I found the staff to be extremely pleasent and very efficient. The rooms were very nicely laid out and clean. The hotel was very quiet, and the evening I stayed there it was completely full, yet I heard almost no noise inside my room. The computer area for printing out boarding passes, etc. was greatly appreciated. The beverage bar available 24 hours was great, especially since I arrived in the evening and left at 4 am. Having the shuttle available 24 hours as well as available to drive to food establisments in the evening is great since I did not have a rental car. All in all, a great place to stay. I will return to the Hampton Inn Haratford Airport on my next trip to the area.

Not really a complaint, but a suggestion. I hung my clothes out over the desk chair for easy access in the early morning of my flight and when I put my sweater on I was bitten by a very tiny insect that since my return home my doctor has confirmed was a deer tick. If possible I suggest you have the rooms fumigated on a more frequent schedule. Living in Alaska I am not acquainted with ticks, but I realize they are very much at home in Conn. Fortunately I got a good look at it after I pulled it out and went saw my doctor first thing today. I am on meds and taking all necessary steps to prevent the possibilty of contacting lime disease. Those damn little buggers hurt when they latch on, you can keep them in Conn. Another suggestion, it would be more comfortable if the rooms on the ground floors had drapes that could be closed completely at night, rather than the sheer drapes in the rooms presently.

Needed a place to stay near airport due to a very late arrival. Did reverse park and stay. Reception folks very accommodating at both ends; late for my plane Thurs AM - were brief. Weary Mon PM, and they understood. Good breakfast. Will do it again. Question #2 above, it was all about convenience to airport. No romance, no castles. Sorry.

The complimentary shuttle was a lifesaver for getting to dinner easily after a long day. Definitely take advantage of the shuttle service for quick and easy transportation.

The breakfast was warm, with variety of food options. Everything was nice, the room was decent size with the couch and a fold out sofa, for example. Easy location and overall the stuff was very very helpful and fabulously friendly.

Didn't like the staff, some of them were not very friendly.

The hotel was conveniently located near car rentals and various restaurants. We loved checking out the local golfing range and exploring nearby attractions. The complimentary breakfast was a big plus. Definitely recommend taking advantage of the shuttle service for quick and easy transportation.

The air conditioning unit in the room didn't work properly. The cracked display made it hard to adjust the temperature, leading to a less than ideal airflow. Upon arrival, the setup for three guests was inadequate, requiring extra effort as we had to prepare the sofa bed ourselves. There were also minor cleanliness concerns, such as a noisy bathroom vent and a lack of daily housekeeping .

The King Study room was super comfy and perfect for my family. The indoor pool and spa were great spots to unwind after a long day. The only minor thing was that the breakfast selection could've had a bit more variety, but overall, it was a pleasant experience 😊

Fast check-in, clean King Room with good amenities. Wi-Fi was spotty at times.
